Hampshire Cricket Over 60’s in Spain

Jan Bridle (BournemouthCC), John Hall (Rioteers CC), John Paine (Twyford CC),  Jim Smallbone (Petersfield CC), Gil Collins (Easton &Martyr Worthy CC) and Tony Wharton (Lymington CC) combined with Berkshire Over 60’s in the  Over 60’s cricket festival at La Manga. 

Hampshire/Berks played 5 matches of 30 overs per side max 6 overs per bowler in 5 days including 2 matches in 1 day  beating the International teams but losing to the other 2 counties participating. The highlight was beating the Aussies the overall  winners in a close fought match and finishing  in 3rd place
